Summer fun

Had a fun weekend.  Saturday Riley enjoyed trying out his new slip and slide or as he called it "swim and slide".

In the afternoon we got to see a beautiful rainbow.  I love rainbows but not as much as the guy on you tube.

Saturday night we had our first bonfire in our yard.

Riley really enjoyed roasting marshmallows.  Austin of course loved eating them.

Then on Sunday we went for another family drive to Esofia Park.  Jason used to go fishing there when he was little.  It was a pretty park with lots of trail to hike on.  We tried fishing in the pond but didn't catch anything.  Riley had fun casting though and he is a really good little caster.  Dad is so proud!

Then we drove to the Coon Valley Park and fished in the trout streams.  Jason took the hook off of Riley's fishing pole and left the bobber on for him to cast along the creek.  Riley did a great job casting in the trout creek.  Jason caught 2 trout and Riley had a lot of fun.  It was a beautiful day and I got a lot of good pictures of the bluffs.  Riley had his first taste of trout on the grill.  He thought it was really tasty.  After fishing we stopped and got ice cream sundaes.
