Fort McCoy and a Junk Yard

Went to Fort McCoy this past weekend to try out fishing.  The water is so high around here thought we would try something different. 

Austin loves playing in the water.  He isn't afraid to stick his head in but mom is afraid of him sticking is head in!

On the way back we came across a really cool looking junk yard full of awesome things.  Stopped for a look.

Prarie Moon

Have been taking the kids outside pretty much every night after work as long as it doesn't rain.  The water is so high everywhere but there are still some places near the water that aren't totally flooded.  Went to Prairie Moon Park today in Cochrane, WI.  Neat artistic stone sculptures built in nature.  Due to the high water there are frogs all over the place.  Seems like no matter what park we go to we come across hundreds of jumping frogs. 

Last night we went for a walk at Perrot Park and saw a lot of honey bees.  Tonight we saw a lot of dragon flies, frogs and grass hoppers.  So fun to observe the little creatures.  Funny how my kids are noticing and loving nature too...nothing better than being outside appreciating what God created for us to enjoy.
