Misty Morning At The Boat Landing

This morning there was one of my irresistible forces of nature luring me in for a photo.  Stopped at the boat landing across the street from work and snapped a few shots of the purple, misty, hazy and beautiful fog.  After looking at the pictures on my computer I realized I had also captured a man fishing that I never knew was there.  Funny how the things you don't see can sometimes be the favorite part of your photo.  Perfect example of luck mixed with the natural beauty of nature.

The next shot is one of my personal favorites I have ever taken.  I was peacefully enjoying the morning by myself (without noticing the man directly across from me fishing) when I noticed a boat with fishermen coming along.  I thought it would be a cute picture if I could blur the foreground yellow flowers and focus in on the boat with the people inside and hope for a clear shot.  After seeing the photo I was delighted to see 3 children in the boat as well.  Two boys and a cute little girl with curls.  I just love this photo!

Here is a cropped one to see them better.

Riley's baseball game at seven years old.

Riley is loving his baseball games this year.  He is having fun and that is the important thing.

Being a mom of boys keeps you on your toes but it sure keeps you laughing too.

Riley and Austin were singing this song "Hey, sexy lady.  Hey, sexy lady."  I tell them we don't say that word.  That is not a good word and I don't want you guys to say it.  Riley says, "Why mom it is just sex.  You know sex is marriage."  My answer to that is... change the subject.

I was telling Riley I am tired.  I asked him if he was tired.  His reply, "No I never get tired until midnight."  Austin's immediate response is a nod and "me too."

Youth Baseball Photo

So take a quick glance at the next photo.

At first glance it looks like the middle guy, wearing number 39 shirt is dancing like Shakira!  I had to take a second look and zoom in before I realized it is another kid behind him bending over to give this illusion.  You may not see it but it sure gave me a good laugh!
