Riley's 7th Birthday

Riley turned seven on Friday.  Every year older I tell myself "only _____ years old he is still a little boy."  The time goes by so fast that it is not fun to think about.  I am so very proud of Riley, he is my sweet, sensitive and tender hearted boy!  He always thinks of others and loves to make others happy.  The best gift a child can have is the gift of kindness.  May he always keep his kind heart.

Had a bowling birthday party this year.  Invited the entire class.  Riley wanted to invite both 1st grade classes and I said one class is enough.=)  He had a turn out of 14 kids!  They had a blast and Riley was a happy boy.  This year was football themed.  My cute Seahawks fan!

Stay Vacation

Enjoying a couple weeks off from work.  Decided to stay around here this year rather than travel anywhere, a stay vacation.  This week has been some of the best weather we have had yet this year and I am thankful for it.  Savoring every second.  Went canoeing, hiking and enjoyed a girl day with my best friend.  Still have all of next week to look forward to.

What a cool find today.  Linda and I were walking on the Great River Bluff State trail and happened upon a fawn right next to the trail.  Oh so cute, sweet, beautiful and amazing to see.

Riley turns 7 tomorrow.  Made him a Seahawk cake this year.

Did some senior pictures for my cousin's daughter, Katie.  It snowed, rained and was about 35 degrees during the photoshoot.  Still got some nice shots and she is adorable.

My cousin Andy got married this past weekend.  Lauren made a beautiful bride and the wedding was so much fun!
