The Mars Time Capsule Photo
I submitted a few photos to a local contest and found out today I had two winning photos. Was not expecting to win anything so that is totally awesome. I am so pumped to have a free night stay in Appleton. I never win anything so I am feeling ecstatic.

Fun in Onalaska Photography Contest
Above is the grand prize winning photo of the Onalaska Spillway during high water submitted by Katie Weisbecker. Katie has won an overnight stay at the Fairfield
Inn Marriot in Appleton and her photo will be added to a time capsule being created by Duke University to be sent to Mars.

on the Great River State Trail. Katie won a gift certificate to Blue Moon Restaurant and Saloon.

Jim Murphy took home the 2nd place prize in Vacation in Your Own Backyard with this photo of a monster Northern. Jim won 3 games of bowling and 9 holes of golf from Coulee Golf Bowl.

This winter photo taken on the bluffs behind Menards with Onalaska and the Lake stretched out beyond, by Trevor Kleinschmidt, was our 1st place winner. Trevor won a gift certificate to Ciatti's Italian Restaurant.
