COVID 19 Journaling

April 22nd ...

Life has changed a lot.  I am now working three 12 hour shifts a week in the Emergency Room area helping escort patients who come in by ambulance to their rooms.  I am thankful to still be working as many of my clinic co workers have been furloughed.  I am hoping we can all get back to our normal jobs soon.

The kids are unfortunately playing a lot of video games.  They are also being home schooled by a very unqualified teacher....me!  We do math worksheets, the old school math way, writing once a day, we watch Mystery Doug, read daily and practice piano daily.  It's not enough but at least I'm trying.  It takes more than an hour to fight with Austin to do anything.  My plan for today is have the kids create their own American Flags...whoo hoo.  I also ordered a bunch of new books from the book order at school.   We ordered some "I Survived" books.  I'm sure one day there will be a book called I"Survived Covid19".

There is rumors baseball may still happen.  I'm hoping it does.  The kids have a new hobby in biking.  It is a great social distancing hobby.
