Jason Home for the Weekend, First Frost, Fall Pics

Had a nice weekend with Jason home.  Didn't do too much.  Stayed home and played in the yard most of the time.  I did get up early Saturday morning to take pictures of our first frost.  It was a gorgeous morning with lots of crispy, frosted leaves scattered on the ground.  It was really fun.

Then on my drive home the sky was so breathtaking mixed with the beautiful fall colors that I had a hard time keeping my eyes on the road.  Everywhere I looked was a picture perfect scene. 

Jason left tonight for another two week long training session.  I feel much more adjusted to things than I did the first time he left.  Funny how we learn to adapt.  I am sure I will have my moments but it will all work out.  I feel thankful Jason will get to be home for Halloween at least. 

And that's FALL for now.

A coworker gave me the privilege of taking photos of her two beautiful daughters last weekend.  I had so much fun and I was so pleased with how the photos turned out.  Here are some of my favorite shots.

Color Run

Ran in the Color Run for the first time.  So glad I participated.  It was a nice break from single mom daily activities to crazy colorful fun time with adult friends.  Renewed my spirit.  Thank God for my amazing parents whom I can always rely on.  I am one blessed momma!

Colors Bursting and Life Bursting!

Colors are starting to burst.  A tree here and there of bright red or yellow.

 

 

Dealing with lots of anxiety with Jason's new job.  Found out today if he comes home Friday night(3 and 1/2 hr drive) and he works until 6pm then he wont get home until late Friday night and he has to be back to Elk Creek, MN on Sunday am by 7am for classes again.  There is really no point in him coming home for one day.  This job worries me but at least I have my parents to help me if I need a break.  I feel guilty for feeling so overwhelmed because I know this is just life and many other people do this every day as a single parent so I need to just relax.  Maybe I need a glass of wine.  So now Jason may not be home until late next Thursday night.  Poor Jason having to be away from his family for so long too.  That is a huge bummer for him too.  He would much rather be home with us and this training thing seems so long.  It is a huge shock to our lives.  God help us!

 

At least when life is messy we can appreciate the things outside of ourselves that are perfectly beautiful!
