Elmaro Fall, Fall Boat Ride, Jason's Pumpkins, Heidi's Hats

Fall is falling fast.  Starting to get browner every day.  This weekend is supposed to be 70 degrees though.  Indian summer.

This is our cute little tree in our front yard.  In the spring it turns pink and in the fall I've never really noticed it before but this year it turned a beautiful yellow. 

This is our big trees in our front yard.  They don't usually get this colorful.  They do however make for a lot of yard work.

Went to Elmaro on Saturday.  It was a perfect day for drinking wine outside.

Fall Drive

Wasted a bunch of gas today driving around the country.  This is the most beautiful time of year and the best time for driving around.  The orange, red, green and yellow bluffs are especially pretty this year and I can't help but enjoy looking at them.  This morning I went for an early morning hike, it was cloudy but still pretty.  On my way home the sun was peeking out and so I drove around to find good views.  I was not the only one, along the way I noticed several people parked on the side of the roads trying to capture a picture.  Better enjoy it now before it is gone.

Foggy Scenic Drive

It has been painful working every day this week because of how beautiful it has been outside.  The days are getting shorter and since the sun rises at around 7:20 and sets around 6:30 I don't get to see much light before or after work.  The bluffs are gleaming with colors and it takes your breath away.  This has to be one of the best falls in our area in a long time.  I hate to see the leaves fall to the ground and every day a little more beauty fades away. 

This morning was a thick foggy day and I thought it would be an awesome view if I drove on Apple Blossom Road to get above the fog and see the sunrise.  Wow was a right!  It was the most exhilarating and glorious sight.  I could have stayed up there for hours but unfortunately I had to get to work.  I pushed my time to the last minute.  I arrived in the parking lot at work at 7:57 and ran all the way in and actually punched in at 8:00 on the dot.  Here are my pictures that DO NOT come near the awesome view.

Austin's First Day

Austin had his first day today at the new daycare.  It went awesome.  He didn't cry when I left and Rachael said he never cried all day and was good all day long for her.  She sent me a picture of him playing which I love.  I always liked that about Tammy and it is so nice that Rachael takes pictures of the kids too.  She even makes breakfast for the kids which I think is so nice!  I am actually working every single day this week as I picked up my day off.  It has been a long time since I worked a full week.  It is nice to have that option.
