Bird Watching is Fun

Another nice day.  Took the kids outside and played for a few hours after supper.  Jason put up bird feeders in the yard so now I can be a bird watcher and take endless pictures of them.  Birds are amazing!

Park Hopping

It turned out to be another beautiful day today.  Jason's mom came over and went for a walk with the kids and I on the trail and played at the park across the street.  SO nice to feel the warm sun.

After Nana left we decided to go park hopping.  First we stopped at Pettibone Park, then Hokah Park and finally at Houska Park.  We enjoyed every bit of sunshine the day had to offer.  The kids went to bed great tonight after all that running and playing.

Hungry Seagulls

After work my mom and I took the kids to Riverside Park to feed the birds.  It was supposed to be 70 today but the wind nearly blew us away.  Always nice to be outside.

Norskadalen and Outside fun

I love rope swings.  I love that we have one hanging from our tree in our front yard.  Jason would like to cut it down but I love it.

 

Norskadalen is one of the best places to visit.

Perrot Park Sunset

Today was beautiful.  Took the kids to a "Veggie Tales Party".  Riley's little friend from daycare had a party and invited us to come.  There were about ten kids there and they all brought their own pillows and blankets to watch the Veggie Tales movie.  It was cute and I am glad we went.

I went for a 20 minute run on the trail today.  It was the first time it was dry enough to run on. 

Then after dinner I drove to Perrot Park to enjoy the sunset.  I was the only person out there and it was so peaceful.  There were hundreds of tundra swans in the distance and they were making that high pitched sound they make, it was so beautiful and peaceful.  Wasn't expecting to see the tundra swans so that was a nice surprise.

Here are some turkey vultures, at first I thought they were eagles and I was all excited.  Turkey vultures sure are big and ugly. 

Went in the kitchen and found Austin in a laundry basket.
