Wild Cat Park

Today we took a drive to Wild Cat Park.  It is a beautiful park that has amazing trails you can hike on to view the fall colors.  The colors were at their peak today and was a perfect day for a drive and a hike in the woods.  Had a fun family day.

Cousins

Here is a picture of Riley, Abby, Austin, and Brody last year at this time.

Tonight we got the cousins together again. It is amazing how much they all have grown in one year.

High Roller Birthday Party

Riley went to his very first birthday party for one of his school friend's this weekend.  I was surprised when he brought home the invite as it seemed a little soon for a school birthday party but I am so glad we went.  It was fun to see Riley with all his little school buddies and it was fun to talk with some of the other kids parents.  Riley had never skated before and he was all excited to get out there and try.  I decided to skate with him because he couldn't even stand for more than 3 seconds  and I didn't want him to break his neck out there.  We will have to go there more often to give him some more practice.

Unprofessional Haircut

I cut Austin's hair.  This is not recommended.  I think it looks better than it did but in the light of day there are some spots that need fixing. 

Fall is my favorite time of the year.

I went to Cranberry fest for the first time in Warrens with my good friend Carrie.  We had a great time looking at all the neat homemade crafts people were selling.  It is easily the best craft show I have ever been to and we plan on making it a yearly tradition to go.  We were smart and brought suitcases with wheels so if we bought anything we could easily carry our stuff around with us.  I got some neat stuff and had fun people watching as there were a crazy crowd of people there!

It has been a beautiful week.  Fall is my favorite time of year.  I love going on walks anywhere I can to get a glimpse of the beautiful colors of fall.  How can you be in a bad mood with such beautiful things to look at.   

Took Austin to one of my favorite places, The Shrine of Guadalupe.  I love that place. 

We took the kids for a Sunday drive.  Stopped at a park and did a little fishing.
